Being a part of the Jehovah’s Witness church, I adhere to the belief that marrying within the church community is encouraged, as it is believed to facilitate the preservation of shared faith and doctrines. However, my challenge lies in the fact that I haven’t encountered anyone within my church who expresses a genuine interest in marrying me.
The men from my church who enter my life seem more focused on physical attraction and intimacy rather than getting to know me on a deeper, personal level.
I, however, am committed to maintaining my chastity until marriage. This is a principle I haven’t explicitly discussed with the men I’ve interacted with, as I expect fellow Christians to inherently understand the significance of avoiding premarital relations.
