June hurriedly got ready for work. It was early morning, but she felt neither tired nor sleepy. She quickly made her husband sandwiches, wrapped them in foil, and put them on the table.
Harold worked in a car service, and they didn’t provide lunches, so he had to take something with him every time. June herself worked as a cook in the canteen. Her workplace was far from home, and she got up two hours earlier than her husband, so the early wakes didn’t bother her.
