Newsbreak reports that a Twitter user, Gbenga, has said that his uncle, wife and their young children, were among the dozens killed by terrorists in Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday.
According to Gbenga, the slain family were only visiting his parents
Many persons were killed earlier today when suspected bandits, numbering five, opened fire on worshippers, including children and women, at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo council area of Ondo State capital.
They also threw dynamite into the church.
The state police spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami said the command would speak on the ugly incident later.
This news medium learnt that the heads of state security agencies have rushed to the ancient town.
