My Daughter’s Death ‘Saw My World Crumble’ – Late Adeh Says In Last Interview

A video of the late Nollywood actress, Ada Adeh talking about her struggles with depression following the sudden death of her daughter, Godsgift Ameh has resurfaced.

In the now-viral video, the actress described her as “her best friend”.

She said she lost three sisters, three brothers, and her dad but the death of her daughter “saw my world crumble.”



“My depression became worse when I lost my daughter in 2020. We practically grew up together because she was 14 when I had her. So she was more like my younger sister and my best friend. I just saw my world crumble after her death,” she said in the interview in June 2022 on TVC.

Godsgift died in October 2020 six months after she celebrated her birthday.

While her demise is unknown, reports indicate she passed after undergoing a medical procedure.

The funeral was attended by some Nigerian celebrities, which include Charles Onojie, Emperess Njama, Lancelot Imasuen, and others.

Adeh, on the other hand, is reported to have died on Sunday, July 17 at a hospital in Delta State. She was 48.

While the cause of her death cannot be independently confirmed by MyNigeria, The Nations reports that ‘The Johnsons’ star, collapsed and died. Meanwhile, popular content creator, Amama Benn Benedict whose post on her death has garnered reactions said she died as a result of her battle with mental health.
