Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Kids Archie and Lili – Meet Them

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on May 19, leaving fans in awe of their unbreakable bond amid controversies surrounding their marriage.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in 2018 in a grand ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England. High-profile celebrities and respected politicians graced the historic wedding.

Since tying the knot, life has definitely changed for the royal couple, but their sweetness toward each other has clearly remained. Their union has appeared even more solid after welcoming two children into their lives.

Meghan and Harry share two beautiful children, Archie Harrison, 3, and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Reflecting on being a parent, the duke said:

“I love it. I love every part of it. I always wanted to be a dad, I always wanted to have my own kids and now I’ve got two little people who I’m responsible for.”

The proud parents welcomed their children in surprisingly different countries. On May 6, 2019, they welcomed Archie in London while Lilibet on June 4, 2021, in Santa Barbara, California.

The couple’s adorable children may have been born in different countries, but they share a lot of similarities, especially in their namesakes. They named Archie and Lilibet after royal family members.

According to Meghan, Archie’s second name “Harrison” came from Harry, while she named her youngest daughter after her paternal great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, fondly called “Lilibet.”

For an easy recall, the Hollywood actress sweetly nicknamed her daughter “Lili.” Meanwhile, Lili’s second name, “Diana,” is a loving tribute to her husband’s mother, the late Princess Diana.

Now based in the United States, Harry and Meghan have kept their hands full with parenting while raising their children peacefully away from the spotlight.

Harry noted Archie’s curiosity, revealing that the little boy would pose questions the prince has difficulty looking for answers to. The duke said he would give his son honest answers until he became satisfied.

As for Lili, who is nearly a year old, Meghan shared that their daughter had been teething, a painful stage for a growing infant. She also described her little girl as a “good sleeper.”

MEGHAN MARKLE SUFFERED A MISCARRIAGE

Meghan and Harry have been making the most of parenting. With Lili adding more joy to their lives, the couple considers their little daughter a blessing after the actress suffered a miscarriage.

In November 2020, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about losing a child. She penned a piece in New York Times, where she expressed how devastated she felt during that difficult time.

Sharing about child loss has been cathartic for the “Suits” alum. She made that powerful piece to address the stigma about miscarriage, which occurs in the early stages of pregnancy.

HARRY AND MEGHAN WILL STAR IN NETFLIX KARDASHIAN-STYLE DOCU-SERIES

Meghan and Harry, a notoriously private couple, have slowly opened up more about their family life, as they are reported to star in a Kardashian-style docu-series with online streaming giant Netflix.

In 2020, the couple signed a deal with Netflix worth $100 million. Their docu-series has been one of the main projects the couple planned since stepping back as members of the royal family.

Unfortunately, a royal commentator thought about possible “pressure” for Netflix to get more royal content but to feature other royal family members in the docu-series seemed “highly unlikely.”

Reportedly, the couple has already welcomed cameras into their $14 million mansion in Montecito, California. However, it remains unknown whether the docu-series will also feature their children.
