Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has said he withdrew his support for Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi after finding out how he used Anambra state funds.
Obi, a two-time governor of Anambra state has revealed on numerous occasions that he invested the state funds in a private business which is yielding huge profits today.
According to Adeyanju, he met the presidential hopeful for three hours at the request of Obi who tried to justify his decision to invest billions of public funds in his family business.
The convener of Concerned Nigeria said that he decided after that meeting that he cannot continue to throw his weight behind the LP candidate.

Is that not advancing the financial fortunes of that family at the detriment of the larger group or society or population??
Under saner climes, he would be facing prosecution for abuse of public trust
If what Deji Adeyanju is saying is true, he would not be alone in this discovery. He has should be able to tell us the family business which Pater Obi has invested Anambra’s money so that we go and “VERIFY”. Peter Obi has not hidden anything away from the public. Deji Adeyanju has never supported Peter Obi in whatever guise.
Is not about throwing your Support for Peter Obi; but about the Person you’re throwing your waight on now… it’s a shame most that Nigerian’s still speak like little children.
