the Love of Christ Generation Church, Cherubim and Seraphim, Lagos, Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi has reacted to the outburst of Israel Ogundipe aka Prophet Genesis, saying she is too busy to lose focus.
Genesis, who is the shepherd-in-charge of Celestial Church of Christ Global Genesis Parish, had accused Ajayi of abandoning him while he was in custody.
The cleric was in 2021 convicted and sentenced to jail for defrauding a London-based architect and converting her property for personal use.
Responding to him at a press conference she organised on Wednesday to mark 15th anniversary of her London church and one year thanksgiving of Lagos cathedral opening, Ajayi said she is too busy for trivial matters.
“I am too busy a person to lose my focus. Obasanjo coming to preach in my church on Sunday,” she replied when asked for comment on his outburst.
Ajayi prayed for him and asked God to touch his heart.
She also called on the general public to join her in the anniversary celebration of her church.
“On Friday September 2, we are having a nine-hour marathon praise. And on Sunday is the one year thanksgiving of our Lagos cathedral,” she announced during the press conference.
Among the artistes scheduled to minister are Adeyinka Alaseyori, Mike Abdul, Big Bolaji, Psalmos, Peterson Okopi, and Bidemi Olaoba.
The celebration will climax in London on Sunday, September 11 for the 15th anniversary celebration of the London church.
Ajayi had a grand opening of her Lagos cathedral on September 5, 2021.
Among those present were the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who attended with his wife Foluke Adeboye, and son, Leke Adeboye.
Also in attendance was former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Vice President of Liberia Jewel Howard-Taylor; Senator Rochas Okorocha; former Ogun Governor Gbenga Daniel and Ovation Magazine publisher Dele Momodu.
Others, including religious leaders and traditional leaders, were in attendance.
