21-yr-old man arrested for ch@pping off the wrist of a man who a$$aulted his girlfriend in Nasarawa.
A 21-year-old man, Usman Danladi, has been detained by the police in Nasarawa State for allegedly chopping off the wrist of one Jibrin Abdullahi, 25, during a fight over a girl in Karu LGA of the state.
It was gathered that the suspect was arrested for attempted culpable homicide on Saturday, September 17, a day after he allegedly committed the hideous crime.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel, in a statement on Sunday, September 18, 2022, said the suspect who confessed to the crime claimed that the victim had a$$aulted his girlfriend which led to a fight.
“On September 16, 2022 at about 1600hrs, information was received that one Jibrin Abdullahi ‘M’ 25yrs of Kaduna State but a resident of Tudun Wada Area, Auta Balefi of Karu LGA, Nasarawa State was att@cked and his wrist, ch@pped off.
