A video making the rounds online captures the moment a suspect nearly got away after hopping into a police car.
Policemen reportedly responded to a disturbance call and they were interrogating her to determine whether she should be arrested. They alighted from the vehicle and left the keys in the ignition.
The lady who was acting like she is mentally troubled, staggered until she got to where the police car was parked and she entered.
The officers quickly rushed towards her to stop the lady from driving off but she had already turned on the ignition and she drove for for a few seconds before stopping and jumping out of the car.
However, it seems she did not put the brakes so the vehicle began to move in reverse and slide down the slopy road.
They tried chasing after the car to stop it, but it was too fast and they could not catch up so it hit a tree.
She was eventually arrested by the cops and her neighbour could be heard trolling her over the fact that she would be sent to jail.

In other news, a truck driver alleged to be intoxicated by marijuana caused a scene on a major road after being stopped by highway patrol in North Carolina, USA.
He had apparently informed policemen that he drove from California to North Carolina in a day (24 hours), even though the journey is normally supposed to last for a minimum 38 hours by road.
In a video which has gone viral, policemen asked him to step down from the truck, and give them his logbook for them to verify his claim.
He complied and alighted from the truck but the shocking thing he did next was to start walking towards the officers in a brazen manner. They felt threatened and shot tasers at him one by one.
That, however, did nothave any effect on him as he just continued walking like he was not being electrocuted.
He could be seen wearing a white T-shirt without any trousers, exposing his boxers.
A part of the clip showed when he removed the taser clip from his body and tried to put it on one of the policemen who had to retreat.
It took the intervention of another officer who came from the side walk to put him down. He walked towards the driver from behind and lifted his legs before slamming him on the floor.
Other security personnel rushed with tactical swiftness to restrain the man who was lying down on the floor.
