Edi Okoro of Hertfordshire, UK, could not figure out how to propose to his girlfriend, Cally. That’s because Edi is a self-confessed “spontaneous improviser” who’s not very good at making plans in advance or keeping secret plans from Cally
So after Edi bought Cally’s engagement ring, he kept it with him at all times — just in case the right moment arose, presenting him with the perfect opportunity to pop the question.
After a month, Edi still hadn’t found the perfect moment.
One day, he was at home on the couch admiring the beautiful ring when Cally nearly caught him. It was a very close call, but one that inspired Edi to take even more chances in getting caught.
“This escalated quickly into trying to get as many photos of Cally with the ring without her knowing!” Edi wrote on Facebook. “The idea was to take as many photos, in more daring scenarios, until I found the perfect moment to propose, or until I got caught, at which point I would propose!”
Edi essentially proposed to his girlfriend many, many times. He captured his “engagement ring photobombs” in a series of adorably romantic photos going viral with more than 24,000 likes on Facebook.
