I belong to the Jehovah’s Witness church, where they teach us to marry someone from our own faith. They say it helps us keep our beliefs strong. But I’ve been facing a problem. I’ve never found anyone in my church who wants to marry me.
The guys from church who show interest in me seem to only care about one thing – physical intimacy. They don’t take the time to get to know me for who I am. They’re drawn to my appearance, but they don’t seem interested in anything else.
It’s frustrating because I want a meaningful connection based on more than just physical attraction. I want to find someone who respects my beliefs and values, and who genuinely cares about me as a person. But so far, that seems hard to come by in my church community. I’ve tried talking to these guys, hoping they would see me for more than just my looks. But every time I try to have a conversation with them, they steer it towards physical things.
