Governor Ortom Reveals Sponsor Of Fulani Terrorists; Says ‘We Have Documented Evidence”
Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has finally revealed the people being the brutal attacks carried out by the Fulani Herdsmen in his State.
According to a report by Daily Post, the Governor accused the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore of sponsoring the killings of his people, especially the farmers in many communities across the State.
Mr. Ortom said the state government has documented evidence to back up the claim, stressing that the violence in the state is sponsored by Miyetti Allah.
It was reported that the Governor made this known while reacting to the report that the Fulani Association has taken his government to the International Court of Justice for retaining some herders and seizing their cows.
He said, ” We have documented evidence of threats and actual killings by Fulani terrorist groups who have been sponsored by Miyetti Allah to carry out violence against communities in the state. ”
He continued by revealing that the atrocities of the Fulani terrorists across the State have also been compiled, explaining that the federal government needs to compensate the victims of the atrocities.
While giving the data of the alleged victims, Governor Ortom said nothing less than 5, 000 people in his State were killed by the terrorists, stressing that property worth billions were destroyed and 2 million residents were displaced.
