A Nigerian man simply identified as Chris has been left in a heartbroken and shocked state after realising on his girlfriend’s birthday that she is in a relationship with someone else.
He reportedly organised a romantic surprise for his lover named Jennifer, as she turned a new age and paid her a visit, only for him to be hit with an unexpected shock.
The young man reached her place and saw that her other man had already beat him to the game of surprising the lady.
The incident was said to have happened on Tuesday, August 16, around the Federal Polytechnic Nekede area in Owerri, Imo State.
A video making the round online shows the moment a trumpeter sent by the other guy, was serenading her at the exact same time that Chris and his friends arrived with his own birthday gift.
It was gathered that the other man who organised the special package for her is referred to as Senator aka Pastor, and they have been dating for more than three years.
A dramatic scene unfolded as the hurt man became enraged and his babe tried to plead with him to calm down and listen to her explanation, but the pleas fell on deaf ears.
A source who is familiar with the case, said Chris ended their relationship five months on the spot.
According to a source; “Chris is my friend and we planned a birthday surprise package – ‘panran ran’ and other gifts – for his girlfriend of five months, Jennifer.
We got to her location only to see another birthday surprise from another man she calls Senator who is believed to be a pastor. We learned that Jennifer and this pastor have been dating for over three years.
Chris was devastated by the news and called the relationship quits ignoring her plea for forgiveness.”
