I am a young mother of two. My husband and I got married in 2017 and have been living together peacefully ever since. I actually met him through my mom. Our mothers used to work together at a government hospital. At the time, I had just graduated from university and was waiting for my call-up letter to go for national service.
As the first child of my parents, my mom was always pressuring me to get married, even though it was one of the least things on my mind. She had been on my neck about it since I was in the university. Since I was still in school, she did it in a cool manner, so I didn’t complain much.
