A group of Caucasian military officers have sparked reactions online after being captured on camera singing the Nigerian national anthem.
The young men recited the anthem from start to finish without any slip or error as though they were Nigerians.
It seems they were being recorded by a Nigerian who apparently taught them the anthem which they sang with so much ease.
The video surfaced on October 1st which is a very significant date because it is the country’s Independence Day.
Mixed reactions trailed the video as some Nigerians noted that they coud not even remember the words.

Meanwhile a Nigerian military officer became a subject of discuss weeks ago after he refused to recite the National Anthem at an event.
A video which made the rounds online showed the soldier sitting down while guests stood up when Nigeria’s National Anthem was being sang at an event.
The man who was in full uniform just sat and bent his head and refused to stand up until the recital was over.
Someone who attended the same event captured the moment on tape and it generated mixed reactions online.
Some netizens took his side and said he is probably tired of the happenings in the country and he does not feel like the anthem inspires confidence, while others argued that as an military officer he is bound by duty to recite the anthem irrespective of his sentiments.
