Commuters reportedly travelling for the burial of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu narrowly escaped being kidnapped.
Their journey was cut short when gunmen took over Umuaku road, Abia State in broad daylight. The burial is to take place at her father’s compound in Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area of the state.
A traveler filmed the moment buses and private vehicles all stopped by the roadside to ascertain the danger level before proceeding.
She claimed that the suspected kidnappers were trying to prevent Osinachi’s wedding from happening today, June 25, 2022.
