I completed senior high school at a younger age than most of my classmates. I was considered one of the gifted students, but things were tough financially at home. All I wanted was to continue my education at the university so I could gain the knowledge and skills to build a better life for myself.
Because of that, I was fully focused on my studies. Although boys tried to get my attention, I had a clear goal and wasn’t willing to compromise it. So I stayed focused. When I sat for the WASSCE, my dedication paid off—I passed with good results and qualified for university.
