A clergyman has been in a video making the rounds on social media holding a shotgun while preaching in church on Sunday.
He brandished the gun while on the pulpit and told his congregation that he bought the weapon in 1994, which means he has owned it for 28 years.
The cleric’s decision to wield a gun while preaching comes a week after a Catholic Church in Owo, Ogun state was attacked by unknown gunmen.
According to him, the gun has been fully registered and he is licensed to carry it for protection. He said that it has been renewed twice and he intends to do another renewal in light of the worsening security challenges
