A Nigerian lady has gone online to cry out for justice after allegedly being extorted of N320,000 by police officers.
She said that it happened at a checkpoint when she was going to Lekki Phase II in Lagos on Saturday.
The lady said a police man asked to search her bag knowing she had nothing illegal inside, however, the officer claimed to have seen weed in her bag and that was the beginning of her troubles.
She said that he invited his colleagues and they took her to the station where they demanded money from her and threatened her to comply else they will take her to NDLEA office.
The young woman said they initially asked for N400k, but she told them that she did not have that amount.
They took her phone and were able to see that she had money in her account, so they extorted a total of N320k.
