Award-winning musician Rihanna has had a number of twists and turns in her love life and dated some big names in Hollywood before ending up with American rapper A$AP Rocky, whom she had been friends with for years.

Rihanna is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and fashion designer who hit stardom when American producer Evan Rogers discovered her. The singer went on to become a big name in the music industry ever since releasing her debut single.

The “Wild Thoughts” singer also recently welcomed her first baby with her boyfriend A$ap Rocky. The new mom has been excited about the baby on the way for months.

Ecstatic Rihanna revealed in January that she was expecting a child when she debuted her baby bump in a photoshoot in Harlem, New York City.

The latest mom, who is on top of the world, had it rough with her previous relationships. Rihanna had been in quite a number of relationships before she ended up with the father of her child, A$AP Rocky.

The “We Found Love” crooner definitely found love with several people, including Chris Brown, although they didn’t end well. This duo first met in 2005.

They soon began to date in 2007 but had a controversial split in 2009 when Brown was alleged to have physically assaulted her. However, they later rekindled their love in 2013.

Shortly after her split from Chris Brown, Rihanna dated Matt Kemp, a professional baseball player. However, they broke up due to the singer’s busy schedule.

Then she dated Karim Benzema, a soccer star, from 2015 to 2017 after Rihanna broke up with him because she still was in love with Chris Brown.

There were rumors that she also dated Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, rapper Travis Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio. However, it was never confirmed as inside sources said they were just friends. 

Rihanna and Drake also triggered a dating rumor when they worked on musical projects together. They were an item until they broke up but remained friends for a short while.

Another lover was Hassan Jameel, a Saudi businessman. They called it quits because their lives were different. This seemed to be the end of the merry-go-round as she settled with A$AP Rocky after Jameel.

Before the birth of their baby, rumors started making waves that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky split up over infidelity allegations. It was rumored that the 33-year-old Rocky was having an affair with designer Amina Muaddi and was caught by Rihanna, which made them part ways.

Muaddi, a designer for Rihanna’s Fenty footwear, was labeled as the reason for the rift in the couple’s relationship. Although inside sources say that all is good with the couple, writer Louis Pisano believes otherwise, saying they are no more together. 

The couple has been seen together on occasions following the rumor that they split, and sources comment that they look good and normal.

Grwoing up, Rihanna  never had things handed to her, instead, she had a difficult childhood, no thanks to her father, who was an alcoholic and an addict.

Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father, got married to her mom Monica Braithwaite and had three children, Rihanna inclusive.

Ronald could not keep a job because of his lifestyle, and his wife had to take over, leaving her young daughter to take care of the home and siblings, which later affected her health and studies. 

The marriage was dissolved as Braithwaite needed to protect her children from an addictive and violent husband.

On a similar note, Rihanna and her father’s relationship has not been rosy, and they have had disagreements and tried to mend the fence. Following Rihanna’s revelation about her pregnancy, Ronald was excited and ecstatic.

He affirmed that his daughter was a lover of kids, and she would make a great mom. Hopefully, Rihanna is doing well and enjoying her time as a parent.
