Doren Specialist Hospital Under Attack Over Death Of Celebrity
Doren Specialist Hospital has been under attack from Netizens after the death of Ex-BBnaija star, Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey.
The death of Rico Swavey was announced on Thursday by his colleagues, Tobi Bakre and Alex Asogwa, after a terrible accident that left him on life support.
In a new development late on Thursday, a video surfaced on social media showing the negligence of nurses on duty to Rico Swavey, an emergency patient.
The video, allegedly filmed by a nurse in Doren Specialist Hospital, showed an unconscious Rico Swavey on a chair with oxygen while nurses deliberate about the patient in an unserious manner.
The hospital, located at 1 OsaPaul Street, Thomas Housing Estate, Ajah, Lagos, has been under fire from Twitter users, who shared their ugly experiences.

Uti Nwachukwu @SirUTI, wrote, “The name of the hospital and the name of the hospital staff that recorded and laughed at RICO as he fought for his life, Should be published for Public knowledge. If necessary actions are not taken, the hospital should be SHUT DOWN WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!!!!”
Another ex-BBnaija housemate, Angel Smith, wrote, “Gonna speak on this because when I was unconscious at home, my friend rushed me here and let me tell y’all something, it was terrible. Nobody should be going to Doren in Ajah.”
Frank Edoho wrote, “Those idiotic medical personnel that were filming and laughing while Rico laid there dying should be banned from medical work and possibly arrested. Why would we expect decent healthcare in Nigeria when our leaders always scurry abroad to get state-of-the-art medical attention?”
Another tweep, Richy Brann @Momohrichard12 wrote, “Awoo Doren hospital again God where are you? This is a story I can’t tell about my late father for this same hospital.”
However, a tweep noted that the video circulating is indeed Doren Specialist hospital, where he was initially rushed to before he was moved to Evercare hospital, where he gave up the ghost.
