A shooting at a Virginia mall left one person dead and two others hurt. Now, weeks later, police say they caught the gunman.
Around 6:30 p.m. on April 2, police in Norfolk, Virginia, responded to the MacArthur Mall for a report of gunshots. When officers arrived, they found a man outside the center with a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead and identified as 33-year-old Roosevelt A McKinney, 33.
Police also found a woman with a gunshot wound and a man also injured. Those victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators identified Gary Moore, 39, as a suspect in the shooting. He was arrested on May 18 on charges of second-degree murder, two counts of malicious wounding and three counts of use of a firearm.
Investigators have not released a motive in the case.
