Man Mocks Black Woman on Plane, Unaware of Who’s Sitting Behind Him
On what should have been an ordinary flight from Madrid to New York, things took an unexpected turn when Denise was mocked by a man because of her black skin. The situation quickly escalated, involving the entire flight. However, neither of them knew who was sitting behind them.
Denise and her daughter, Fiona, stood beside each other as they were checked through security. They had their tickets in hand as their luggage was run through the scanner. Once cleared, they continued on with other passengers toward the plane they were about to board.
They had arrived in Madrid from Nigeria and were now preparing to board a connecting flight to New York. Denise was relieved because it meant that the first half of their trip was over, and they would soon be home. Going back to their roots had been an emotional journey for both mother and daughter.
