British royal family news indicates that Meghan Markle may have been telling the absolute unvarnished truth when, in her Netflix reality show, she claimed not to knowing anything about the royal family she married into. She married Prince Harry in 2018 and now one insider alleges that Meghan did not want to serve the crown, she wanted to be a full-fledged celebrity which suggests that she knew nothing about the monarchy.
Royal Family News – Meghan Wanted Fame?
Daniela Elser wrote in news.com.au that Megs was “disappointed” when she found out that life as a royal means serving the needs of others, not the other way around.
She noted, “When you are an American celebrity and you mix with celebrities in the US, you just get used to everyone around you saying how marvelous you are.” Whether you are or not.

Elser’s comments are echoed in Tom Quinn’s book, Gilded Youth. According to the royal expert, Meghan, “hated the fact that she had to do what she was told and go where she was told in the endless and to a large extent pointless royal round.”
One of Quinn’s sources said of Meghan’s failed Princess-ness: “I don’t think in the whole of history there was ever a greater divide between what someone expected when they became a member of the royal family and what they discovered it was really like. She was a global superstar but was being told what she could and could not do, what she could and could not say. She hated it.”
Royal author Tom Bower beings another voice to the same table telling GB News that Meghan was, “money-obsessed,” and, “disappointed,” that Dirty Harry, “had very little money.”
“Her great surprise and disappointment was that Prince Harry had very little money,” Bower said, adding, “She had imagined he would be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and she is having to make up for it now.” Meghan might have known this had she goggled the clan?
