e of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has saluted Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, as the ‘only Governor that peppers them’.
This echoes one of the songs that have, in recent times, been celebrating the political relevance of the governor.
As he battles for what he calls equity and balance in the power structure of the Peoples Democratic Party, and being governor in a strategic state, he has become the bride that different parties have been wooing.
Wike, alongside other PDP leaders that include his counterparts in Oyo and Benue State – Seyi Makinde and Samuel Ortom – is insisting the PDP’s Chairman Iyorchia Ayu resign since he is a northerner as the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Ibijoke and Sanwo-Olu
Acknowledging his presence at the ongoing conference of wives of officials of the Lagos State Government in Lagos, Ibijoke saluted him as ‘the only Governor that peppers them’.
Observers will see Wike’s presence at the event also being attended by the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu, as strategic and suggestive, since the All Progressives Congress has also been wooing him.
People who are also sensitive to public speaking and elocution will also give Ibijoke kudos as her presentation was inspiring.
