Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has decried the loud silence greeting the killing of Northerners in Imo State.
IDOMA VOICE recalls that unknown gunmen believed to be members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra had reportedly attacked Oroge community and killed about seven northerners.
The incident reportedly happened on Monday.
Reacting, Omokri wondered why nobody is talking about the killing, arguing that if it were to be in Kano, the social media would have been on fire by now.
He tweeted, “Why is nobody talking about the attack on Northerners in Imo, which led to the death of 8 Nigeriens, and the injury of many Northerners? Our selective outrage is a disservice to our nation. Southern Twitter and media just ignored it. Would we ignore if it was Kano?”

Thank you for your observations.One of problems in this country is selective reportage of event. Nigeria media must give unbiase reportage of happenings, and anything short of this is tantamount to disservice to the Country.
Beside, as humans , you should know that one day, we shall stand before our Creator to give account of our deeds while on earth.

You will curse a tribal war very soon. Where on earth are they killing the northerners in imo state? Why are you so wicked all because of politics? I used to love and have u as a mentor,but I never knew you are so cheap. Currently,we have northerners working in our house in the village,very happy,they are not even willing to go and you there talking what you don’t know. Go to enugu,nnsuka,okigwe,headsmen has occupied those places kidnapping people and you are not even talking about that.shame
